oh my venus kdramaSummary: Kang Joo Eun, a lawyer who’s on the heavy side due to her hypothyroidism met famous personal trainer of star Kim Young Ho on the flight from the US back to Korea. She took the chance to get help from him in order to lose some weight especially after her breakup with her long-time boyfriend. Working with her coach was finding more about him; his past and his current responsibility as the heir of Gahong group.

Genre: Romantic Comedy
Episodes: 16
Stars: So Ji Sub as Kim Young Ho
Shin Min Ah as Kang Joo Eun
Jung Gyu Woon as Im Woo Shik
Yoo In Young as Oh Soo Jin

Likes:  It’s good to see another romantic comedy with big stars like So Ji Sub and Shin Min Ah. They looked great together! Shin Min Ah’s character Kang Joo Eun was funny and easy. She always tried to stay positive and worked hard for everything.  On the other hand, So Ji Sub’s character Kim Young Ho was very serious and his way of life was strict discipline and planning. It’s good to see these 2 main characters complement each other. Furthermore, the chemistry between the two was undoubtedly strong. They were so comfortable with each other. It’s cute to see the girl being more aggressive and flirty then the guy being more reserved.

Those fatty masks were so well done especially Oh Soo Jin’s! I think the girls were so cute looking chubby. Chubby Kang Joo Eun was very cute though she lost that pretty dimple.

Epic meeting at the police station! I enjoyed this part very much. Ex-boyfriend protecting his ex-girlfriend, ex-boyfriend’s current girl came to a rescue, ex-girlfriend’s future boyfriend came to testify. It was so twisted, it was awesome.

These drama has lots of great moments. Let’s take a look at my favorites…

  • The umbrella-kiss moment – so that was Kim Young Ho’s taste of life. As coffee with cream to the chubby Kang Joo Eun.
  • Meeting coachinim at Ayang Bridge moment – girl running towards sexy coach waiting with open arms!
  • Boarding-departure moments – when one escapes one’s world, off to the other’s.
  • Sexy moments – we get lots of these when our 2 main leads are oozing with sexiness.
  • Pat-pat moments – letting go.
  • Meeting the family moments – awkward!
  • Proposal moment – our Kim Young Ho pulled a great proposal his girl truly deserved.

Supporting cast is awesome! Starting with the supporting leads, they were the main leads’ serious competition. Im Woo Shik and Oh Soo Jin can actually do a spin off. Other characters who made good impression were Snake and Ji Woong (truly Hyungs), Snake’s persistent girl, chairwoman/grandma who was always looking fierce, Young Ho’s assistant who always looked stiff but best supporting actor award, I’m giving it to the angry uncle-in-law!

Leading man in this drama is definitely the total dream guy! Trainer of Stars (given to have a sexy body), heir to Gahong group (rich boy), can do DIY treatment (a doctor), very helpful of others in need (a savior), can knit (a pink scarf for his girl) and last but not the least, can pull off an awesome proposal (lucky girl).

Ending with a promising wedding and short epilogue revealing an extravagant gift for grandma!

Dislikes: The leading men’s outfit especially the suits are not so impressive. Young Ho’s were always looking to big for him and had too much padding, he looked like an asthmatic person. Woo Shik’s suit prints were such eye sores!

So Ji Sub looks too thin, too tired and too pale in this drama. Far from the very sexy So Ji Sub in The Master’s Sun. He’s still sexy but not as sexy.

Awkward family meeting. Kang Joo Eun overdid it during her first family visit. They just could have omitted that part. It was too painful to watch.

Last episode was just lots of flashbacks!

My Rating: 8 stars! (10 as highest)

the merchant gaekju 2015 kdramaSummary: Cheon Bong Sam, a son of a former merchant started from scratch after his father died. He honed his business skills when he started to work at a stable. From there with personal and business trials that never left his side, he worked his way to the top as one of the most influential businessmen during his time.

Genre: Romance, Period
Episodes: 41
Stars: Jang Hyuk as Cheon Bong Sam
Yoo Oh Sung as Gil So Gae
Kim Min Jung as Mae Wol
Han Chae Ah as Jo So Sa

Likes: World of merchants Joseon style! That for sure was a new sub genre for me.  It’s interesting to see how they do business and trade during that time. Tough world to survive but already there was ambition, passion, determination, ethics even tradition from these hard-working pioneers.

I love the costumes and the realistic setting. From the hats, sandals, clothing of the peddlers to the traditional hanboks of the wealthier merchants. The markets looked convincingly real and the stable looked appropriately right with the tough guys living at the place.

Though it’s heavily focused on business, it’s got its fair share of love and tragedy. The love of our merchant for the most beautiful woman in their world and how that happiness was taken from him. This side story was essential in keeping the interest in the whole business thing :).

Formidable characters and the actors who took the roles. Definitely an impressive performance by everyone. Let’s start with…

Jang Hyuk as Cheon Bong Sam– if the great merchant was really handsome then JH was a great choice. A wise character with an excellent business skills. Tough stable guy but became softhearted for the lady he loved. A great leader like his father who always protected his flock. It sounds too good to be true, right? Let’s just say he didn’t get or acquired everything but he always ended up victorious.

Lee Duk Hwa as Shin Suk Joo – LDH is a great actor and portraying the smart and powerful Shin Suk Joo is an addition to his very attractive resume. I love how his character who started at the top dropped vertically after he met his lady love curse.

Yoo Oh Sung as Gil So Gae – he was annoying from the very beginning and he stayed like that until his very end.

Kim Min Jung as Mae Wol – her love for Cheon Bong Sam was deadly. She’s gonna be remembered as the ex-peddler, ex-pristess who almost got what she wanted but didn’t.

Lee Dal Hyung as Choi Dol – I’m giving him the best actor award for his topnotch performance as Bong Sam’s close friend who was quite slow for his age but the most loyal and was willing to sacrifice himself for his friend. It was heartbreaking to let him go.

I love all the dramatic character-ending in this drama. The ending of Shin Suk Joo with the setting sun. The terrifying death of Jo So, Bong sam’s wife. The sad but heroic ending of Choi Dol. The fate of Gil So Gae which was like his father’s. All tragic but makes me remember them more!

All Bong Sam’s speeches in this drama were very touching. He could easily start a rebellion at that time through his powerful speeches but in the end, his being a great speaker was used to teach his young followers how to be a great merchant themselves.

Dislikes: Too long for this kind of theme.

Sometimes women were so perfectly made up, it doesn’t look like Joseon era.

My Rating: 8 stars! (10 as highest)

shine or go crazy kdramaSummary: Prince Wang So known as the cursed prince was destined to be the successor to the 1st king’s throne but only if he would get married to a princess that would serve as his light and guide to be a true leader. Without knowing, he married a former princess who has that fate but right away separated from her without even seeing her face. After a few years, their paths had crossed again and began to fall in love.

Genre: Period, Romance
Episodes: 24
Stars: Jang Hyuk as Wang So
Oh Yeon Seo as Shin Yool
Lee Ha Nui as Hwang Bo Yeo Won
Im Ju Hwan as Wang Wook

Likes: I always love a historic setting and seeing Jang Hyuk in prince costumes makes me always swoon. SWOON! Love sageuk and love Jang Hyuk!

The story got me hooked from the very beginning. Characters were well introduced – who’s the good guy – what are his potentials, who are the baddies – what bad things are they capabale of doing… made me interested in each one of them right away. Well done!

Too many pretty faces in this drama. Not that I’m complaining, in fact, that made me always look forward to another episode.

As mentioned in my pre-review, the chemistry between Wang So and Shin Yool was overwhelming. 2 great looking leads who very well complemented each other.

That interesting showcase of powerplay seen in most sageuk drama is once again in this one and I just loved it! How can they all be beautifully sneaky?

Excellent sword-fighting scenes! But when it comes to fight, my favorite is the princes’ tournament. This is where the
ladies are hooked (right?).

The characters, let’s dissect the top ones…

Prince Wang So – very well portrayed by Jang Hyuk who I think lost weight to exactly look like a poor swordsman then later, an old king (barely recognized him but he was still sexy). I love how Wang So fell in love, changing from a very focused leader to a child-like personality and I love how he would stare at his lady love. To top it all, he was funny, strong and brave!

Shin Yool – I always wonder how this delicate and beautiful being survived in that era. Yes delicate, beautiful, smart and very wise. She was just too lovable. No wonder why princes and generals were smitten by this beauty.

Prince Wang Wook – Oh dear, though he was competing against Wang So, he was definitely a top contender. Towering, good-looking, can fight but seems gentle and every inch a prince, a proud prince [swoon]. I love the music that’s being played everytime Wang Wook is in the scene, it’s light with a tinge of sadness.

Princess Yeo Won – I like the lady. She wasn’t the typical evil other princess but a beautiful, politically motivated, smart and powerful person. She was definitely giving it a fight to be on top. No nonsense. Just no love life for her, it was the price she was willing to pay.

Everyone else did a great job. Special mention to Wang Sik Ryum (the evil uncle), the brother king, Seo Won (sad for his tragic ending though) and to my favorite, Shin Yool’s brother who was funny though always causing trouble.

Dislikes: I don’t really like the ending. No matter how I think of it, it was a sad one. Realistically, Wang Wook would choose to be king (like how it was shown) and sacrifice his love and ended up as an old king who always longed for his lady love (as shown how he kept those memorabilias in his secret room). But what I don’t like most is to confuse viewers with a “there might be a happy ending” scene. I just don’t understand the very last scene. Was that a “what if” or he really lived as a king and went to see her from time to time??? For me, it’s either a Titanic ending or not, nothing in between.

I was disappointed how that battle ended up. They were talking about an army so big but couldn’t show that much. As what Shrek says, “You and what army?” Sorry but I expected an epic battle scene.

They could have been more creative with the title. It just doesn’t sound sageuk.

pinocchio kdramaSummary: After the tragic loss of his parents, a young Ki Ha Myung decided to live by another name Choi Dal Po after being adopted by the person who saved him from the waters. He then met his foster parent’s granddaughter who happened to be the daughter of the reporter who framed his family. Later on, he became a news reporter himself to avenge his family.

Genre: Romance, Family
Episodes: 20
Stars: Park Shin Hye as Choi In Ha
Lee Jong Suk as Choi Dal Po / Ki Ha Myung
Kim Young Kwang as Seo Bum Jo
Lee Yoo Bi as Yoon Yoo Rae

Likes: Interesting to see what’s going on behind all the news we can see on TV, what’s left of the truth after all the manipulation. News is a powerful medium, it should be handled with care and responsibility. This is a drama which sheds light and understanding of the media, what should be taken seriously and what should be ignored.

It’s a great script by the same scriptwriter who did “I Hear Your Voice”.

I love the chemistry between Park Shin Hye and Lee Jong Suk, better that Park Shin Hye being paired with Lee Min Ho!

Lee Jong Suk fits the role perfectly with his very “sincere” looks. Not much of a fun of his looks but for the role,
he was perfect.

Love the first kissing scene! Background looks cold but the two made it looked really cozy :). Though I think their lips must have gotten frozen together :).

Other special characters that I really like are…
Song Cha Ok – mother of Choi In Ha and news anchor of MSC. She was ruthless but can’t deny the elegance of this lady. She always looked and appeared perfect.

Choi Gong Pil – foster father of Choi Dal Po and grandfather of Choi In Ha. Super funny and loving, it’s easy to undertstand why it’s hard to leave him.

Park Ro Sa – the Chairman! She was the villain character that made this show so interesting. The actress is always to watch for. She always give justice to her characters.

Cameo by Yoon Sang Hyun as lawyer Cha Gwan Woo! Knowing this drama was written by “I Hear My Voice” scriptwriter, making it a parallel story.

I love the ending. It shows what happened later to the most important characters. Definitely a good closure.

Dislikes: It became draggy and melodramatic somewhere between 14th to 18th epeisodes. I got bored. It was hard to finish even just 1 episode. I know they all can cry but there were times when it was just too much crying.

My Rating: 8 stars! (10 as highest)

its okay thats love kdramaSummary: Jang Jae Yul, a famous novelist and radio DJ who’s sufferring from a personality disorder meets Ji Hae Soo, a psychiatrist. The 2 had to live together with other 2 guys in a house which is owned by Jang Jae Yul. For Ji Hae Soo, falling in love with someone who can be her patient was the biggest challenge. Helped by other professional psychiatrist friends, the 2 will have a chance to pursuit a normal relationship.

Genre: Melodrama, Romantic Comedy, Medical
Episodes: 16
Stars: Jo In Sung as Jang Jae Yul
Gong Hyo Jin as Ji Hae Soo
Lee Kwang Soo as Park Soo Kwang
Sung Dong Il as Jo Dong Min

Likes: The drama has a serious medical topic but done greatly to appeal to viewers who are into romance. In other words, medical-romance combined nicely topped with 2 of the best actors in Korea.

Jo In Sung and Gong Hyo Gin’s dramas are always to watch for. They seem to be very skilled in choosing dramas where they truly shine and this is one example of that.

Jo In Sung – remains one the sexiest korean actor for me. His sleek, tall figure; pretty face and excellent acting makes him one.
Gong Hyo Gin – this lady though not the prettiest has the charisma on screen. She’ll make you love her.

For those who want to have a good cry, this one’s for you. Great drama moments thanks to the leads.

Presence of good comical reliefs makes the drama light and bearable.

Happy ending for everyone!

Dislikes: There were just moments when it was making me so sad. Not much of a crying-drama person.

joseon gunman kdramaSummary: Park Yoon Kang, a fugitive who came back from Japan to Joseon to avenge his father’s death to a gunman. He then became a gunman himself to hunt the people connected to his father’s killing.

Genre: Period, Melodrama, Action, Romance
Episodes: 22
Stars: Lee Joon Ki as Park Yoon Kang
Nam Sang Mi as Jung Soo In
Jun Hye Bin as Choi Hye Won
Han Joo Wan as Kim Ho Kyung
Yoo Oh Sung as Choi Won Shin

Likes: The fact that it’s sageuk and the fact that it has Lee Joon Ki in it!

An interesting sageuk plot. It’s interesting to see the transition of how Joseon fought war, from swords to guns. The idea of introducing it to a conservative society was indeed sparkling a huge debate but the hypocrisy of the conservatives, using gunmen to protect them from being up in power, just showed that the use of guns was unstoppable!

Let’s get back to my favorite Lee Joon Ki. Though I love seeing him in Hanbok (korean traditional costume), he just looks extra sexy and cool in suit especially in that era when everyone was wearing Hanbok. Pretty face as usual and he always doesn’t disappoint :). And a great plus, he can speak Japanese! That definitely adds to the sexiness and coolness points!

I love seeing Yoo Oh Sung again, the great villain in Faith (with Lee Min Ho)! Though his character here seems to be quiet, there’s no denial, he’s still a great actor. He had the looks of a determined hunter, the original gunman!

The gun exhibition! I know it was a bit overdone but isn’t it too cool to see Lee Joon Ki turns the gun around his finger before firing! Makes me always smile :).

Poor Ho Kyung! My Yoon Ji Hoo in this drama. He’s just too likeable.

The ending wasn’t that bad. It was obvious there was no way to beat the king but would have been sad to kill the lead. I was glad to see the leading character changed into a people’s hero and though I love the Hanbok and suit looks of Lee Joon Ki, it was interesting to see him long-haired and bearded in the end.
Dislikes: The leading lady is pretty but Lee Joon Ki is prettier. It’s always hard to find a pair for him.

So In’s character was too weak for Park Yoon Kang. I found Hye Won more suitable for him.

Drama-overkill sometimes. Too much crying and talking before shooting.

My Rating: 8 stars! (10 as highest)

angel eyes kdramaSummary:  The story of a blind girl who gained back her eyesight but lost her first love. After 12 years, he was back and she was in love with him again but dark secrets would stop them from being together.

Genre: Romance, Melodrama, Medical, Family
Episodes: 20
Stars: Lee Sang Yoon as as Park Dong Joo
Koo Hye Sun as Yoon Soo Wan
Kim Ji Suk as Kang Ji Woon
Jung Jin Young as Yoon Jae Bum
Jung Ae Ri as Oh Young Ji
Seung Ri as Teddy Seo

Likes: If you like a good cry then this drama is for you. It’s definitely one of the best melodrama I’ve watched so far. The story was sad, no maybe even tragic and that was well-conveyed to the audience. Plus Koo Hye Sun’s crying was always convincing, you just want to cry with her. Lee Sang Yoon, aside from his admirable looks (height, very proportional body and a handsome face with a dimple) is really great in crying too. These 2 leads were convincingly good on being sad :).

I thought this drama was getting draggy but I think it’s actually made that way. Everything was so detailed, from the prologue (2 episodes with the young Dong Joo and Soo Wan and these youngs characters were from time to time appearing throughout the drama), the main story and to the epilogue which was 1.5 episode long. As if writers explained in detail what pain and heartache really are and they would want you to understand that.

The “what if story”! As I’ve said it was too detailed they even show what would happen if … All happy and my favorite is of course the wedding scene!

I love the characters of the 2 leads (so as the actors). It’s good that they got great young actors who are comparable (to the main leads) to portray the young Dong Joo and Soo Wan. Young Soo Wan especially looks like young Koo Hye Sun.

As for the other guy, Kim Ji Suk looks great here. He definitely gave Lee Sang Yoon a good competition. Hm, 2 great guys competing for our good old Jan Di, huh!

The presence of Seungri! It’s always fantastic baby! He was definitely the best comical relief in this drama.

It’s good to see another island getting featured. A good break from our favorite Jeju.

Not necessary but I’d like to mention I really like Soo Wan’s lovely house! From the story, it’s understandable why she doesn’t like to go back. Too many sad memories.

Love the OST specially the “run run running to you” song :). Couldn’t help but sang-a-long everytime it was played.

Dislikes: The ending. I would like it just a little bit different.

Summary: Park Soo Ha, a high schoi hear your voice kdramaol student is looking for the woman who once helped him put the man who killed his father into jail. He then realized she became a lawyer and went to meet her. With his ability to read people’s mind, he’s trying to protect her from now newly released killer of his dad.

Genre: Romantic Comedy, Fantasy, Crime, Thriller, Mystery
Episodes: 18
Stars: Lee Bo Young as Jang Hye Sung
Lee Jong Suk as Park Soo Ha
Yoon Sang Hyun as Cha Kwan Woo
Lee Da Hee as Seo Do Yun

Likes: Good story! Lawyer-themed so I expected interesting cases to be solved. There were of course like what I expected but it also has its own main and important case which involved our brave leading characters. It was a thrill to watch it till end.

This is another noona-love drama I like. It was good to watch it with You Who Came from the Stars which is (guess what) a noona-love drama as well. It seems to be the trend in 2013 and it gives us (all within noona-age bracket) some hopes. Lol!

Another superpower drama. The other one is alien alright, this one is hearing thoughts!

Lee Bo Young – first time to see her in a drama. She definitely did give justice portraying

Jang Hye Sung. She has a cute and young face which helped me accept the fact she would end up with the young guy :).

Lee Jong Suk – hm definitely a cute guy! But was he too thin? I swear I won’t fit in hos skinny pants!

Yoon Sang Hyun – I like him here. I liked him as Oska in Secret Garden but a lawyer seems to suit him well.

Lee Da Hee – She’s just gorgeous! She always looks very intimidating. And yeah she can also act!

Though the lawyer-theme can become so serious, there were some comical relief that made it easier to watch especially to viewers like me who can’t stand heavy drama. Oh wait, I was actually able to stand them! They were really good heavy drama moments.

I have to mention the cameo of the popular lawyer Choi Yoon of A Gentleman’s Dignity. Love to see him again!

It was a good ending! I like the kiss!

Dislikes: There were some annoying scenes that I didn’t like. It was too stupid for it to happen!

The villain became soo draggy with his intention to kill. But well, we won’t have a drama, right?

pretty man kdramaSummary: Pretty man Dokgo Ma Te has to find a valuable password his deceased mother has left. He has to win over several women that could help him get to his goal.

Genre: Romantic Comedy, Family
Episodes: 16
Stars: Jang Geun Suk as Dokgo Ma Te
IU as Kim Bo Tong
Lee Jang Woo as David Choi
Han Chae Young as Hong Yoo Ra

Likes: It’s unexpectedly good. This is my Cheongdamdong Alice of 2013! It has a good story line with unexpected twists! I thought it was just one of these cute dramas, more visuals than story but no I was wrong. This has both!

Talking of visuals, this  drama is indeed packed with pretty faces! The perfect face of Jang Geun Suk, the very cute IU, the handsome (with sexy voice) Lee Jang Woo and the gorgeous doll Han Chae Young!

I like the 10 characters of women that our pretty man Dokgo Ma Te has to conquer. I didn’t expect the last 3 specially the last one. It makes every episode interesting!

The ending is good. A closure to every important characters’ story without overdoing it.

I love David Choi! It was always heartbreaking to see him getting rejected so I’m glad he might end up with a glamping fanatic in the end.

Best acting award of course goes to the iron lady, MG queen, Na Hong Ran. I love her! She was just great!

Gigolo image suits JGS very well!
Oh how I missed JGS long hair, the one he sported in the 1st episodes. So pretty!

Dislikes:  Very little chemistry between JGS and IU. Sweet moments didn’t make me giddy much.

It was odd to see JGS cry in the last episode. It looked very forced. Sorry.

Heavily advertised Ferrino!

the master's sun kdramaSummary: A girl who can see ghosts found shelter from a powerful, rich and good-looking CEO. She grabbed the chance of staying by his side when he needed someone to talk to his dead ex-girlfriend.

Genre: Romantic Comedy, Fantasy, Horror
Episodes: 16
Stars: So Ji Sub as Joo Joong Won
Gong Hyo Jin as Tae Gong Sil / Tae-yang
Seo In Guk as Kang Woo
Kim Yoo Ri as Tae Yi Ryung

Likes: My first horror-comedy kdrama and I love it! It was scary at first – it just shows how good the makeup was – but it was enjoyable to watch every episode ending with a solution to every ghost problem :)!

I love every ghost story! It begins with a freaky intro and ends up very funny!

I love Gong Hyo Gin! She always pick a good drama. I hope to see more from her!

Lots of pretty faces! Special mention to So Ji Sub and Kim Yoo Ri – she’s a doll!

I love the leads! It reminds me a lot of The Greatest Love!

Dislikes: As I’ve mentioned above, this drama reminds me of The Greatest Love because of the leads but So Ji Sub, as handsome as he is, didn’t get close to the charisma and sexiness of Cha Seung Won! Anyway…

Due to popularity, they made it 17 episodes. Really, there was no need! It just made episodes 15 and 16 redundant!

bridal mask kdramaSummary: The story revolves around Lee Kang Too, a Korean during the Japanese regime in the 1930s who made it serving the imperial police. He ended up killing Bridal Mask, a mysterious freedom fighter who without his knowledge was actually his brother. With anguish and call for revenge he put on the mask.

Genre: Action, Period
Episodes: 28
Stars: Joo Won as Lee Kang To
Shin Hyun Joon as Lee Kang San
Jin Se Yun as Oh Mok Dan
Park Ki Woong as Kimura Shunji

Likes: Lots of good actors! You know it’s a good drama when familiar actors are packed up in one. But I have to specially mention Park Ki Woong for a job well done. He was definitely upstaging Joo Won! Sorry Joo Won’s fans but will make it up on my next stanza.

Joo Won is just gorgeous! He looks so tall all the time and gave justice to all the suits he wore and not to forget that hot Imperial police uniform!

I love the era! Of course minus the violence, injustice and suppression. People were very conscious about their looks, they dressed up really nicely.

The action scenes were always heart-pounding! I think they’re the best in this drama! They’re worth every slow motion! There was this one scene I ended up watching 4x because it was just really good!

And the music! Especially the one accompanying the action! It’s still playing in my head until now.

A few good twists in the story that keep me interested till the end!

This drama made me read history! I think that is good :).

Dislikes: The 2 main characters’ transition was too abrupt! I didn’t have time to digest it. Like it was hard for me to see Lee Kang To changed from that ruthless imperial police to suddenly someone who cares. Same with Shunji, from a very kind school teacher to the torturing and obsessive Superintindent! That made him soo creepy.

Somewhere in the middle, it got redundant. Lots of delaying but glad it recovered.

Ahm, and of course the ending! I knew there would be sacrifices but I didn’t expect much. It was too heavy for me. I’m actually not yet over it. I just wish the drama I’m currently watching will help me soon.

queen in hyun's man kdramaSummary: A scholar in the Chosun era time-travelled to the present with the power of a talisman which was intended to save him everytime he was facing death. He met an actress in the present who was always willing to help him and her playful and happy personality captivated him.

Genre: Fantasy, Romantic Comedy, Time-travel, Period
Episodes: 16
Stars: Ji Hyun Woo as Gim Boong Do
Yoo In Na as Choi Hee Jin
Kim Jin Woo as Han Dong Min
Ga Deuk Hi as Jo Soo Kyung
Park Young Rin as Yoon Na Jung

Likes: I love the story! I enjoyed every single episode of it! There was a good balance of comedy, romance and drama.

I love the title Queen In Hyun’s Man. It didn’t make much sense in the beginning but it definitely did in the end. Well done!

I love the characters and the actors who gave life to them. First I wasn’t so sure with a scholar and actress tandem but it was just well done that the chemistry between the 2 was undeniably strong since the beginning of the drama.

Lots of kissing scenes! That’s why I love Yoo In Na’s character, she would always find a way to kiss him :). So sweet!

The never ending interrogation by the actress’ assistant / manager about Gim Boong Do’s background. I just thought that was funny. They even did it again in the epilogue.

And I love the ending! Not because of the kissing scene 😉 but how they close the story without being dependent to that talisman (though it was really useful at the start). It was just fate! It was fate that she was asked to narrate that documentary that made her remember things about him and made her call him which connect her to him just before he was about to die and so on and so forth… And yeah I’ll just include the last kiss :).

Dislikes: I really like that Gisaeng who gave Gim Boong Do the talisman so I was so sad that she had to die like that. She was so heartbroken already not to have him. Aside from that,  it’s hard to think of something I dislike.

So many pretty boys here, gosh!
Special mention to Song Joong Ki’s acting! He was just great!
I love the ending very much!

Dislikes: I like Park Min Young but I think she was too pretty for the role. Oh well, they’re all pretty!

Likes: Both leads are pretty! Lee Joon Ki competes well with Shin Min Ah’s beauty!
Superb acting!
Martial arts skill of LJK is impressive!
LJK in Magistrate outfit makes me swoon!
Beautiful scenes especially with the flowers!
Very good script!
Happy about the ending!
