money flower kdramaSummary: Kang Pil Joo, the most capable lawyer of one of the biggest and most powerful and influential Chong-ah group has been waiting for that crucial moment to take over the company. But he’s got competitions! Lots of them, all very powerful and influential. Since he’s very determined, he is willing to do everything including giving up the woman he loves.

Trailer: Money Flower

Genre: Romance, Political
Episodes: 24
Stars: Jang Hyuk as Kang Pil Joo
Park Se Young as Na Mo Hyun
Jang Seung Jo as Jang Boo Chun
Han So Hee as Yoo Seo Won

Likes: How can I resist a wonderful drama with Jang Hyuk but putting my man aside, Money Flower is one exemplary drama about people who are driven by greed. People who think they can control everything with money. We’ve got here a fantastic story with equally fantastic cast. The outcome is simply breathtaking, heart-pounding, heartbreaking, full of surprises and emotions. This is one top-notch drama in pulling threads. Whoever has the most money can control more. Interesting as well as entertaining!

Why breathtaking? Look out for those scenes like the one at the bird sanctuary where Kang Pil Joo was observing the girl he loves but was ready to give her away. The Jung Mal Ran scene as she was entering the room to meet the father of her future daughter-in-law. The revelation and bowing scene by Kang Pil Joo to the honorary chairmain finally revealing himself as the eldest grandchild. This drama is full of these breathtaking moments so brace yourself!

Why heart-pounding? Ah yes it did to mine, a lot! Heart-pounding moments are those moments which are… almost. Yes, almost. Almost-stabbed, almost-strangulated, almost-poisoned, almost-died! But we also have almost-kissed, almost-runaway with him, almost-happy ever after?

Why heartbreaking? Ugh, yes the heartbreaks! Lots of ’em too! Our top leads suffered a lot from this. Kang Pil Jo, basically, since he was little as he lost everyone around him. Na Mo Hyun, what a heartbreak when you’re given away by the man you love!!!

Why full of surprises and emotions? There’s no doubt for these. We’ve got incredible cliffhangers, crazy revelations (equates to “I’m your father Luke!”), turning of events and characters… crazy rollercoaster ride but fun!

Okay, now to our cast. This is also one top-notched cast. I love Jang Hyuk to begin with. I love his sad facial expression throughout the drama. He’s so handsome even when he’s sad. Park Se Hyung, is a wonderful actress. She did well in her character. But 3 actors caught my attention…

Jang Seung Jo as Jang Boo Chun – I was surprised to see how great this young actor was. Very natural! He switches from each emotion to another with ease. Naturally talented!

Lee Mi Sook as Jung Mal Ran – This lady is not just beautiful but a brilliant actress as well. In her character as Jung Mal Ran, she portrayed a classy, rich, controlling woman whose mere ambition is for her son to take over the family’s business. She was excellently ruthless!

Lee Soon Jae as Jang Gook Hwan – This veteran actor is no veteran for nothing! He was awesome as the honorary chairman of Chong-ah, the founder, the father of them all! Even at his age, he was wise, powerful, influential and very ruthless.

Additional icing to the cake…

  • I love the bitching between Boo Cheon and Yeo Cheon.
  • The bromance between Kang Pil Joo and Boo Cheon.
  • The OST is worth checking out!
  • The Jang House is worth checking out too! It’s called Gyeongwonjae Ambassador Incheon – it’s a hotel!
  • Jung Mal Ran’s classy outfits! She wore them all well.

The ending? I love how it ended! I was prepared and I think it was reasonable.

Dislikes: Nothing worth mentioning.

My Rating: 8.5 stars! (10 as highest)

whisper kdramaSummary: Shin Young Joo is a police officer who is trying to prove the innocence of his father for being accused as the murderer of his own friend. She then meets judge Lee Dong Jun and wants to take revenge on him for making a false ruling to her father’s case. To prove her fathers innocence, she is about to fight the who’s who in the biggest law firm Taebaek but of course only if she collaborates with Lee Dong Jun.

Genre: Political, Romance, Legal
Episodes: 17
Stars: Lee Sang Yoon as Lee Dong Joon
Lee Bo Young as Shin Young Joo
Kwon Yool as Kang Jung Il
Park Se Young as Choi Soo Yun

Likes: Political war in its finest! It was just like shooting each other with tactics and defending one’s self with more tactics! It was a battle to watch and thank goodness I’m not in that battlefield. It’s one of the best well-written script. I’m no lawyer but I could tell the writers had done a lot of research to make the story real or close to being real.

So many good actors here, it is indeed packed! But will focus on the main cast…

Lee Bo Young – another cute but tough role. Like her real-life husband, she delivers well in this kind of role. Although the role of Shin Young Joo was an impossible all-rounder, she made her way from being a tough policewoman to a smart secretary and back to being a police officer all with grace.

Lee Sang Yoon – always has this worried facial expression that leaves his forehead wrinkled a lot. Well it fits well with his character in this drama, a young judge who has a bag of trouble to save his own career. And omo, how can I not mention he looks soo great in suit! So tall and handsome!

Kwon Yool – he nailed it here, bravo! The best actor in this drama hands down. He really proves here he’s more than just a pretty and cute face. I will always remember the very confident Kang Jung Il… his voice, his diction, his super smart moves, but above all his weakness to that one girl he loves.

Park Se Young – ah she was great too! The role of Choi Soo Yun, that girl who brought Kang Jung Il down, was a sure challenge. For once she had to be beautiful, powerful, smart and sneaky. Well done girl!

The best love team, I have to be honest was Kang Jung Il and Choi Soo Yun. Their love was like Romeo and Juliet! It was so tragic! Painfully good! They had to give up each other to save oneself. Choi Soo Yun got him in the end when he allowed himself to waver. Poor Jung Il, he could have ended as the overall winner, Taebaek and all.

Special mention to Taebaek’s founders Choi Il Hwan and Kang Yu Taek, the mighty and powerful! Acting by these two was just superb!

Honestly, it took me a while to realize why it’s called Whisper. If you observe, they always whisper to one another everytime one wants to bring the other one down. It was like whisking a summary of the great plan to the other person without telling the latter the detail. That becomes the torture and makes the latter filled with anxiety.

The music is so good and powerful. Always fitted the setting: Whisper OST

That moment when Shin Young Joo was reinstated as a police officer and that moment when Lee Dong Joon entered the CEO office as the CEO of Taebaek. The moments when we see light at the end of the tunnel. Yay, winning!

And that moment when our lady police officer finally handcuffed our Lee Dong Jun! Of course there’s gonna be a kiss! There was a kiss!

The final Finale ending, lol! but I loved it, even just the sound of it! Here, we have a closure for everything  – how everyone got sentenced to prison (of course this is a lawyer drama after all). All good! But wait, who was that super gorgeous lady prosecutor?! (Got distracted there for a bit 🙂 ).

Dislikes: It got draggy a bit in a few earlier episodes and yes 2 kissing scenes? The first one wasn’t even real.

My Rating: 8.5 stars! (10 as highest)

the k2 kdramaSummary: Kim Je Ha, a former soldier who is on the run after being framed, crosses path with the powerful Choi Yoo Jin, the wife of a presidential hopeful, Jang Se Joon. Je Ha witnesses one of Jang Se Joon’s affair thus ordered to be killed by Choi Yoo Jin but survives. Impressed by that, the latter then hires him to be one of her trusted bodyguards and gets an assignment to look after the secret daughter of Jang Se Joon.

Genre: Action, Political, Melodrama
Episodes: 16
Stars: Ji Chang Wook as Kim Je Ha
Song Yoon Ah as Choi Yoo Jin
Im Yoon Ah as Go Anna
Jo Sung Ha as Jang Se Joon
Kim Gab Soo as Park Kwan Soo

Likes: 2 main reasons why I like this drama so much…

Movie-like production but has the typical kdrama romance to it. It’s really like watching a blockbuster-action film with its first episodes showing our buffed main lead with non-stop heart-stopping and impressive John Woo-like action scenes. Every fight scenes in this drama are worth watching credit to the awesome director and Ji Chang Wook who looks so professional in every fight. I also love the slow-mo effect of the most important kick or punch or the famous shooting from the car (Looked like Gone in 60 seconds with Angie. Yeah, that exact shooting scene). Even with all those cool scenes in this drama, the romance was always tailing. It didn’t matter if our main guy was surrounded by other males, he always couldn’t help caring for his girl. And it didn’t matter to be the most evil as long as our madam could keep her man next to her side. Love was a bit complicated in this drama but it didn’t mean it ain’t romantic.

A-list actors! Oh where do I begin because everyone was just so good. Let’s start with…

Ji Chang Wook – he’s tall, very handsome and I could see he really trained hard for this as shown in his very buffed physique. He’s a very good actor not just a pretty face. And the fact that he’s well-trained in martial arts, all his action / fighting scenes actually really look natural. Moreover, this guy has overwhelming charisma. He could easily build chemistry with whoever he’s paired with.

Song Yoon Ah – the coveted best actress award, I will definitely give to this lady. She was just awesome! She comes to you as a simple and beautiful housewife to a presidential candidate, but behind the curtain she was the most powerful, merciless and manipulative lady in the country. How Song Yoon Ah portrayed her role here is beyond impressive! Salute to this great actress.

Im Yoon Ah – pretty and tall and I love her innocent role in this drama. Innocent beauty seemed to have captured the heart of our K2. I have to give her that.

Jo Sung Ha – I always like his performances but here he captured my heart with his sneaky politician and playboy character. Beyond all those hatred, fights and plans to crush his wife, his character had a change of heart and stayed with her till the end. The ultimate politician playboy turned romantic!

Kim Gab Soo – of all his roles, I think Park Kwan Soo is the most remarkable. He mastered the character of a sneaky, greedy, cunning, manipulative but stayed quite stress-free politician. Interestingly, as an antagonist, he wasn’t someone I hated to see rather I always looked forward to what he was gonna do next.

Moreover…

The chemistry between Ji Chang Wook and Yoon Ah was top and surprisingly Ji Chang Wook and Song Yoon Ah’s chemistry was also great. I wouldn’t have minded if the latter pair ended up with each other :).

Kissing scenes were cute. I love the rooftop romance (although realistically it would have been freakin cold to hang out up there, but well anyway…)

Ladies, Ji Chang Wook is showing lots of skin here! Yes and it involved lots of wet fighting with other naked guys! Hurry, check it out!

Well-done cliffhanger scenes every end of each episode.

Even artificial intelligence has a very K(orean) to it. Though Mirror and Cloud Nine are all pretty cool, they also represents beauty and vanity ;).

A very meaningful, tragic but acceptable ending. To my heart’s delights, a short epilogue to give an end to other hanging sub-stories.

Dislikes: Although I like Im Yoon Ah, I just felt that her character failed to develop anymore further. She remained the lady in distress till the end. I wonder if the likes of K2 would still be interested after a while. Oh well…

My Rating: 9 stars! (10 as highest)

jackpot kdramaSummary: 2 princes of Joseon separated from birth but later reunited through their love for gambling. Baek Dae Gil and prince Yeoning also later joined hands to catch the untouchable Yi In Jwa. Both son of the fierce King Sukjong, Baek Dae Gil became the people’s man and prince Yeoning after some power struggles later became King Yeongju.

Genre: Period
Episodes: 24
Stars: Jang Geun Suk as Baek Dae Gil
Yeo Jin Goo as Prince Yeoning later King Yoengjo
Jun Kwang Ryul as Lee In Jwa
Choi Min Soo as King Sookjong
Im Ji Yun as Dam Seo

Likes: Another beautiful period drama with great cast, lovely costumes, intricate story of brotherly love, struggle for power, greed, revenge, politics and impressive swordmanship.

From its well-chosen cast, I would pick 4 favorites and they are…

Jang Geun Suk as Baek Dae Gil – JGS prepared a lot for this role. Though his face is not too Joseon, but he definitely had some Joseon accent going on. The first episodes, he went through some tough scenes like being covered even buried in mud. His training scenes with the master was great. He looked like he could really cut a falling petal blind-folded or shoot an arrow through a hole of a penny. Those scenes were so daebak!

Yeo Jin Goo as Prince Yeoning and later King Yeongju – if I wanna imagine how a really good-looking Joseon royal would look like then it’s the face of Yeo Jin Goo. He always looks good, acts great and speaks really well in period drama.

Choi Min Soo  as King Sukjong – if I had to have a crush from this drama then it’s this guy. Wow, the real King Sukjong must have been so intimidatingly handsome, fierce like a tiger and wise like several kings put together.  Choi Min Soo definitely did a astounding job!

Jun Kwang Ryul as Yi In Jwa – I have to give the best actor award to this guy. He was just amazingly good in acting. He could portray hatred in calmness, greed in leadership and great wisdom in politics. He was the last powerful villain standing and had to meet his most painful end.

Impressive and beautiful training scenes of Baek Dae Gil by the master Kim Chae Gun. Cutting of falling petals, perfectly shooting and fending arrows and flawless swordmanship. They remind me of old Jackie Chan movies.

Lots of impressive sword fights throughout the drama but my favorite is Kim Chae Gun vs Hwan Jin Ki.

I have to mention the costumes. They looked wonderful and realistic. Beautiful and colorful palace outfits, from the royals down to the guards and servants. The common people, slaves and rebels were dressed realistically.

The props and extras on the set were generously provided that make for example a coronation of a king looked so real. The atmosphere, the colors and the people around make the whole scene beautiful to watch.

Baek Dae Gil’s awesome first meeting… with the brother prince Yeoning, with the father King Sukjong (Sukjong looking at him scrutinizing his looks) and with the mother Suk Bin Choe.

Yi In Jwa and King Sukjong outwitting each other’s plans. These 2 characters are the great minds of this drama.

The gambler villains that Baek Dae Gil had to fight and defeat were great addition to the characters.

Tragic endings, lots of them. It’s the beauty of a period drama.

The bromance between the 2 princes was immortalize in the last scene. Such a beautiful closure to a seemingly tragic last episode.

Dislikes: Jang Geun Suk, a good actor but his face is really not for period drama.

The acting in the last 2 episodes became slow and awkward. As if they change the director. It also became cheesy. Hm, who’s fault was that.

Not much romance going on in this drama. (where are the females?!)

My Rating: 8 stars! (10 as highest)

hwajung kdramaSummary: It’s a story of how Princess JungMyung, daughter of King Seonjo survived and lived through the reigns of 3 kings; King Gwanghae, King Injo and King Hyojong during her lifetime. With her powerful influence she managed to defeat strong political enemies like Lee Yi Chum, Kim Ja Jeom and Kang Joo Sun.

Genre: Period, Political, Romance
Episodes: 50
Stars: Cha Seung Won as Prince Gwanghae
Lee Yeon Hee as Princess Jungmyung
Kim Jae Won as King Injo
Seo Kang Joon as Hong Joo Won
Han Joo Wan as Kang In Woo
Jo Sung Ha as Kang Joo Sun
Jung Woong In as Lee Yi Chum
Jo Min Ki as Kim Ja Jeom

Likes: During the whole tenure of the drama, I’ve been going back and forth wikipedia and some other sites and blogs related to the historical background of the drama and I say they come very close to some historical facts and the existence of important characters throughout the drama.

Princess Jungmyung – though she really existed during the time, her fierce character as what was portrayed in the drama didn’t probably hold the truth. But as the ominous princess in the drama, she shone through an entire generation that spanned through reigns 3 kings. Her power and  influence that shake the most powerful political enemies and even kings themselves put her in a position that no female royalty could probably attain during that era. Her love story with then husband Hong Joo Won is a lovely kdrama touch in this serious splendid political drama.

Gwanghae vs King Injo – I’m all for Gwanghae. Though not even given the King title but he was definitely more reasonable than his successor.  He was always willing to sacrifice (specially his pride) all for the sake of his country and people’s safely. During his reign he achieved a lot and manage to avoid possible wars. King Injo on the other hand was portrayed in this drama as lacking, insecure and even cowardly.
Actors Cha Seung Won and Kim Jae Won are both superb choices for the roles.

Most powerful political enemies…

Kang Joo Sun – he’s got to be on top of this list for he was already active even Gwanghae’s time. Powerful and wealthy, former mayor and palace official, he controlled the businesses in Joseon. He had connections to Ming and later Qing. Owned several houses with private armies. This guy was definitely deadly!

Kim Ja Jeom – a master of manipulation. He made King Injo his puppet. Basically ruling the country during King Injo’s reign. He worked hand in hand with Jo Yeo Jung (Consort Jo) , definitely a deadly tandem!

Consort Jo – Joseon’s deadliest lady. Rumored to have poisoned crown prince Sohyeon, son of King Injo and the heir to the throne. A favorite of the King and Kim Ja Jeom behind her back, she could do whatever she wanted.

Lee Yi Chum – his greed for wealth and  political power lead him to do the deadliest acts. He was behind the murder of crown prince Yeongchang.

Kim Kae Shi – her words are valued by Gwanghae. She does everything, poison here and there just to keep her precious Gwanghae on the throne. She was the ears and eyes of the palace. She just knew everything!

This drama has lots of heavy crying moments. Not that I like crying but they were so well-acted and convincing, you get to appreciate the whole sad scenario.

Dramatic exits, lots of them too but the most memorable was King Injo’s. I thought he already died (death bed scene already shown) but next scene he still managed to scold his officials and officially declare Hyojong the next King!

Favorite quote: “Once you sit here, you will also suffocate from its weight.” King Injo to his son King Hyojong.

Ending is a justification why King Hyojong had a hard time ruling.  Always staying close to historical facts.

Dislikes: The last 2 episodes were weak.  It  lost its momentum though the ending was okay.

Dirturbing lighting. So disappointed with this. There were indoor scenes that appeared like a 50’s movie with too much lighting directly on the faces. Just poor.

They casted someone who looks like she had too much botox on the face. That doesn’t match Joseon era.

After 10 years…. then, after 8 years… the men just grew beared but didn’t get wrinkled. Our princess still looked the same 18 years later!

My Rating: 8.5 stars! (10 as highest)

the three musketeers kdramaSummary: Park Dal Hyang wished to be of serviced to the king so he worked hard to pass the exam in the capital. While in the capital, he met a group of noble-looking men who called themselves The Three Muskeeters. The leader of the group was actually the crown prince who Park Dal Hyang would later have a clash with but then after knowing the prince’s true intent, he would dedicate his service to him.

Genre: Period, Action, Romance, Political
Episodes: 12
Stars: Jung Yong Hwa as Park Dal Hyang
Lee Jin Wook as Crown Prince So Hyun
Yang Dong Geun as Heo Seung Po
Jung Hae In as Ahn Min Seo

Likes: The whole drama was short but good. Advantage of a short drama, it eliminates those unnecessary scenes that makes it draggy. Concise but to the point without eliminating the thrill.

Talking about thrills, the cliffhangers are really well done! Make you watch the next episode as soon as possible.

I was looking forward to another Jung Yong Hwa performance. He’s not yet that great but always working on it. Someone to watch out for. Still having a handsome face but in this drama my eyes were always glued on the prince lol!

The prince and the princess falling in love! I was so hooked on those episodes. I didn’t want them to end!

The fighting scenes are really good! Lots of Dal Hyang fighting moments but my favorites are Dal Hyang vs the Prince, Dal Hyang vs Yong Gol Dae

Season 1 ended so well and gave us a big cliffhanger. I can’t wait for season 2! I hope it’s as good or even better.

Dislikes: I was hoping it was truly the end of Mi Ryung but she seemed alive and kicking and ready for season 2.

Didn’t like Dal Hyang not finding a girl. I guess it was hard to top his first love but hoping he will have in season 2!

My Rating: 8.5 stars! (10 as highest)

3 days kdramaSummary: After saving the President of South Korea from an assassination, Han Tae Kyung, a secret agent is finding out more dirty secrets of the people behind the assassination. Together with some others who remained loyal to the President, they’ll all work to have the master mind captured.

Genre: Action, Thriller, Melodrama, Political, Romance, Crime
Episodes: 16
Stars: Park Yoo Chun as Han Tae Kyung
Son Hyun Joo as Lee Dong Whi
Park Ha Sun as Yoon Bo Won
So Yi Hyun as Lee Cha Young
Choi Won Young as Kim Do Jin
Yoon Je Moon as Shin Kyu Jin
Jang Hyun Sung as Ham Bong Soo

Likes: Great action from the most well-dressed and best looking secret agents in the world. Forget about the agents protecting the American Presidents :), they probably have to work  on the fittings of their suits first. This is kdrama afterall, it’s expected and well it’s really fun to watch how well-groomed Korean agents are. From the hair, the suits, the shoes, the casual attire, all perfect! Even when they were laying on the ground dead.

Looks like a big budget with lots of explosions! Makes it more realistic.

Great villain! I’d say so. He was pissing me off big time really. Thanks to the actor, Choi Won Young for doing a great job. His facial expressions were the best.

The President’s face always shows this emotion which I can’t help but sympatize with him. Another great acting!

I love the lady constable, I think she’s beautiful. Her beauty suits with the role. Not so cute, not so pretty.

The ending was quite bloody but glad it ended up nicely.

Dislikes: I like PYC but not in this kind of drama. I hope he’ll do sageuk soon.

A desperate attempt to have a love story between our main agent and the lady constable. Hm, really there’s no need to.

So Yi Hyun as Lee Cha Young is too pretty for the role. It’s soo distracting to have that prettiness working for the secret agency.

The story wasn’t that bad, just having lots of holes. And always what a waste of bombs. Exploding where there’s no one  getting hurt.

My Rating: 7.5 stars! (10 as highest)

empress ki kdramaSummary: A marvelous story how a brave Seung Nyang who posed as a man in her country Koryo, later became the Empress of Yuan.

Genre: Period, Political, Melodrama, Romance
Episodes: 50
Stars: Ha Ji Won as Ki Seung Nyang / Empress Ki
Joo Jin Mo as Wang Yoo
Ji Chang Wook as Ta Hwan

Likes: It has a very well written script and packed with interesting characters, plus great cast and direction, beautiful costumes and accessories, great OST and set in a rich Yuan and Koryo era. It’s a huge production, yes! But all the above mentioned are making it another great drama in my list. I thought 50-episode drama is too long but with this much details in the story, it had to be that long. There was not even a single draggy moment, it was just well done!

Favorite characters:
Seung Nyang – I love Seung Nyang! Brave, strong, talented, a femme warrior, defender of the young royals.  No wonder the princes fell for her even when she was still dressed as a man!

Lady Ki and Empress Ki – she was still fighting with sword every now and then, not to forget blinded Tanqishi in that very lady outfit but her strength was her influence! She just basically had everyone falling for her :). Let me count, hm the Emperor, the King of Koryo, even Tanqishi. She got a lot of people on her side which was obviously necessary to survive when you’re in a palace.

Emperor of Yuan – you’ve got to love him and hate him at the same time. He was so annoying when he’s this scared little puppy emperor but when he started to do something and act more emperorly, he was so adorable!

King of Koryo – what can I say, he’s the perfect husband! He’s so  good-looking, intelligent, can do sword-fight and he would even do everything for the woman he loves!

First Regent – he’s the perfect villain. Relaxed, cunning, smart, brave, a hero for another ruler but just got drowned in power. Sad to see him go.

Tanashiri – daughter of the 1st Regent so yes you want her gone because she becomes really dangerous but it’s also sad to see her go.

Empress Dowager – oh this lady is first an ally then she becomes a deadly opponent. All for power!

Tal Tal – forget about the emperor and king of Koryo, I would go for him all the way! His face, his voice his hair, his brain! He’s perfect!

Favorite Scene: though it’s obvious Seung Nyang would end up with the emperor (afterall the drama is called Empress Ki), there’s a scene (and it became my favorite scene) where I thought the 2 are the best couple. When Seung Nyang was assigned to protect the emperor when he was exiled in Koryo, they went for a horse ride on the beach. They raced and before the young emperor could lose, he jumped on Seung Nyang’s horse, riding with her until they fell in to the water. The scene was just so beautiful. I fell in love with the 2 right away. That was a deciding moment who she would ride with until the end.

One more thing I  like about this drama is that our Lady Ki had the 2 men ;). She loved them both and she had them both. No unrequited love here. It would have been such a waste otherwise :). So definitely not a Jun Pyo and Ji Hoo kind.

Dislikes: I said to myself, I have to prepare my heart for the ending but I was just really sad. To be Empress Ki, you have to have everyone (especially the bad) around you. But really no point if they’re all gone! But I think I was more sad that it had to end. Saying goodbye to all those wonderful characters and their (might be cruel) world.

My Rating: 9.5 stars! (10 as highest)

city hall kdramaSummary: An average woman working in the city hall becomes the mayor out of circumstances. She falls in love with the former deputy mayor who played a big role in her taking the office.

Genre: Romance, Political
Episodes: 20
Stars: Cha Seung Won as Jo Gook
Kim Sun Ah as Shin Mi Rae
Choo Sang Mi as Min Joo Hwa
Lee Hyung Chul as Na Jung Do

Likes: Cha Seung Won oppa! Really like the guy!
Great chemistry between leads! Kim Sun Ah is a good actress but it’s always hard to watch when she’s paired with young actors, sorry.
Political but romance integrated well!

Dislikes: Hard to watch Kim Sun Ah’s character in the beginning. Almost made me stop watching the whole show but glad her makeover is dashing, perfectly fitting to the handsome deputy mayor.

My Rating: 7.5 stars! (10 as highest)
