Hyun Bin is one of my favourite kdrama leading men since his top hit Secret Garden. He normally does really good dramas and has a talent to build a long-lasting chemistry with his leading lady. With his stare that could melt any metal away, I’m sure you’ll be also drawn to his magnetic charisma on screen. Here’s a list of his kdrama that I watched since I started…
Crash Landing on You – rated
together with Son Ye Jin
Hyun Bin as a military officer with a North Korean accent, I’m so digging it! It’s hard to part from his serious and handsome face that even a bratty heiress would have a hard time adjusting to the southern life again. Ah, I’m falling, it must have been that snappy military uniform!
Memories of the Alhambra – rated 9 stars
together with Park Shin Hye
Finally, after the Hyde, Jekyll and I’s flop, My Hyun Bin was back with this awesome fantasy, action, thriller drama! He looked manlier here and I was loving it of course! Lots of fighting in this role so it was just suitable to look stronger.
Hyde, Jekyll and I – rated 6.5 stars
together with Han Ji Min
This drama is my least favourite. It was Hyun Bin’s comeback drama after being released from the army. He tried hard but the role didn’t just suit him well. Also, the chemistry wasn’t that good. Oh well.
Secret Garden – rated 10 stars
together with Ha Ji Won
Oh how I love this one. So much that I gave it a perfect 10 rating! Hyun Bin as Kim Jo Won, an eccentric chaebol was just so crazy yet so charming that even a boyish stuntwoman would eventually fall for him, in fact, I did too! Too much fun with the gender switching as well.
My Name is Kim Sam Soon – rated 7 stars
together with Kim Sun Ah
Still young with big hair, Hyun Bin pulls this leading man role off with so much cuteness. Although he appeared much younger than his leading lady, there was a good chemistry between the two.
