Summary: Sung Hye Sung died when he was in high school and his special friend, Jung Jung Won blamed herself for that. 12 years later Sung Hye Sung comes back to the living world and looks for his family and friends who have all aged 12 years older. He is reunited with Jung Jung Won who is now working as an assistant at a restaurant.
Likes: Interesting story! Someone actually came back to life and didn’t age a bit! The plot makes one curious… why is that, what happens now and how long is that gonna last. At least, those were the questions that bugged me all the time as I was watching the show.
I love the flashback setting… countryside, high school life, simple living, riding bikes, young love… simply very relaxing to watch. I like the young Jung Jung Won… pretty, a bit flirty and sparks a good of chemistry with Hye Sung! The 12 years ago flashbacks were given much weight which were vital foundation to the present-day story.
The love of Hye Sung and Jung Won defied age and worlds. I think this was the most important message of the story. Their love story was very touching and it seemed to go on just like the ol’ Titanic couple :).
The mystery on the death of Yang Chul was nicely unraveled giving me another good reason to watch this drama. Thrilling enough to keep me hooked.
Noona-love is new to me and loving it. That’s all thanks to Yeo Jin Goo‘s confident acting. Very good acting and not at all intimated considering he was next to Lee Yun Hee. Definitely, a very talented young man.
I like a lot of characters here but I love Shin Ho Bang and Hong Jin Joo the most! The comical relief of the show! I liked it when it would get melodramatic then this couple would come up with something funny like the unforgetable “brazilian waxing!”. So funny!
Ahn Jae Hyun as Cha Min Joon – although awkward sometimes, I still like him. I love his voice. His quiet and lonely character here is not his best but good to see him trying out a different role.
The ending, although it was bitter-sweet, I liked it! Well, I couldn’t think of a better way to end it, so it was good. The epilogue was a bonus!
Dislikes: Lee Yun Hee was not as fierce as her other roles in the past. Was it her acting or her character that was dull?
