Summary: Yoo So Joon, a time-traveler made his fortune through real estate by investing on properties that are gonna be a hit in the future. When he thought the ability to time-travel gives him all the success that he’s raking, it also gives him the chance to see his grim future, an early death. In order to avoid that, he takes the advice of a fellow time-traveler to marry Song Ma Rin, a former child star and a struggling photographer.
Likes: I’m getting addicted to time-travel and I enjoyed this one… a lot… especially towards the end. The first episodes left me confused, with all the unexplained situations and branching stories waiting to be picked up at a later episode. Had to be careful and watch out for any paradoxes. That would make it easy to mess everything up. But at the later episodes, when things were starting to unravel, it all made sense.
Beautiful love story that sprung from a twisted fate. The what ifs and what nots. Do we have to change our fate if we have the ability to or just let it be because once you meddle, you might actually mess everything up. In this one, still love conquers all (well, a kdrama afterall!). If you love each other beyond your own time, your love will survive! Cheesy part but I like it!
I love the atmosphere of the drama. It had this silent, less colorful feel throughout the entire show. It’s like watching a quirky Japanese movie (not so quirky, just before you say weird).
Lee Je Hoon and Shin Min Ah’s chemistry was undoubtedly strong. As if these 2 were a real couple. They were very comfortable with each other. This makes it really enjoyable to watch. Kissing scenes were top!
Though the couple fights were a bit repetitive, it was made realistic. Sometimes too realistic that Song Ma Rin became so annoying and Yoo So Joon became too much of a liar.
I love the wedding scene. I thought it was a beautiful wedding… in the rain, with the yellow umbrella, Ma Rin beaming with happiness and So Joon with pride and confidence.
Did I say I love the main couple? Yes they were terrific but love the supporting couple too, Ki Doong and Se Young, both So Joon’s bestfriends. And I’m glad there was enough story about how their love developed and how they ended up together in the end. I thought, if the writers won’t give me a happy ending for the main couple, I could settle for the support.
Villains are really important and this one had a great one. Baek Hyun Jin as Kim Yong Jin was brilliant! His voice alone was already villainous! Good character development.
Good ad placement for Ohri Ramen, don’t you think? Hm, futuristic taste, must be really good!
We have a glimpse of the looks of the future smart phones and they look really cool!
Last 2 episodes were so thrilling! Bitter-sweet ending with a realistic epilogue!
Dislikes: It slowed down in the first episodes. I was close to getting bored. No answers to mystery, fights kept on repeating, characters getting annoying. Oh please, I thought, don’t waste an excellent cast! Happy that they didn’t :).
