Gong Hyo Jin has been consistently making kdramas that would always make it to my top 10 or 15 list. She is a brilliant actress that none of her kdramas I watched so far was a flop. Also always paired with a great leading man and a fantastic script and role to boot, that kind of complete her formula to kdrama success.
When the Camellia Blooms – rated 8 stars
together with Kang Ha Neul
Gong Hyo Jin as Dong Baek is my favourite role of her so far. She did so awesome in this drama! Her character appeared very genuine throughout the show and she was most beautiful in this role too. Paired by the younger and talented Kang Ha Neul, the drama came out as a success.
together with Kim Soo Hyun & IU
Although Gong Hyon Jin’s role here had to dump Kim Soo Hyun, the fans still liked the drama. She played the role of a busy show producer which seemed to be a hit with everyone.
It’s Okay, That’s Love – rated 8 stars
together with Jo In Sung
Gong Hyo Jin this time took a role of a psychiatrist who has to treat her patient, the very handsome Jo In Sung. The chemistry between the two was fantastic!
The Master’s Sun – rated 8 stars
together with So Ji Sub
This fantasy, horror drama was written by the famous Hong sisters, who also wrote Hotel del Luna. Of course it was a hit! Gong Hyo Jin took the role of someone who can see ghosts and had to work with another handsome leading man, this time, it’s So Ji Sub everyone!
The Greatest Love – rated 8 stars
together with Cha Seung Won
Gong Hyo Jin as a former member of a popular girl band trying to make a comeback as a solo artist. Oh well, then she meets an arrogant actor who is played by no other than Cha Seung Won. They fell in love of course and their love story was nothing but cute.
Hello My Teacher – rated 8 stars
together with Gong Yoo
Still young Gong Hyon Jin here and paired with no other than young Gong Yoo. Playing as a teacher who fell in love with her troublemaker student, the chemistry she had with him was undeniably strong. Even this 15 years old kdrama is still really good to watch.
