Big Mouth Trailer

Genre: Legal, Crime
Episodes: 16
Stars: Lee Jong Suk as Park Chang Ho
Im Yoon Ah as Go Mi Ho
Kim Joo Hun as Choi Do Ha

Likes: Where do I begin? This drama is such a big mess that I like it in a way. One thing is sure, it kept me hook throughout. I think the actions were too good, although our poor Lee Jong Suk always got beaten up to a pulp especially at the start.

The Real Big Mouse. That was definitely a lot of guessing from my part. Who could have done all that inside the prison? I like how thrilling it all came out, although I wasn’t really blown away by the big reveal. However, the real Big Mouse was the most sympathetic of them all so no surprise how he could gather all those loyal followers.

The Maze. Park Chang Ho was in an impossible maze. There was no way out but we’ve got some Deus ex Machina in this show so all good, our hero was always saved. I love the representative maze in the intro together, with it’s music. It simply captured the whole show.

Amazing Cast. Definitely some biggies here…

Lee Jong Suk as Park Chang Ho – it’s good to see him again after a while! No doubt his best kdrama is still W, no wonder the production has added some W elements in this drama. He did a great job here, just so beaten up, the poor guy!

Im Yoon Ah as Go Mi Ho – I love Go Mi Ho’s love and dedication to her husband, I thought it was very brave. However, she also did some stupid stuff. She could have avoided being sick and dying from it, had she not go into that tunnel. That was really stupid! Anyway, I like Im Yoon Ah, she’s cute but fierce, suits Go Mi Ho’s personality well.

Kim Joo Hun as Choi Do Ha – His smirks were really annoying! Oh well, sign of a good villain perhaps. However, I would have preferred his role to have taken a good turn, after all, he was just also trying to avenge his family. But yeah, he completely lost it and became the ultimate bad guy!

Jeon Kuk Hwan as Chairman Kang Seung Gun – He was the biggest baddie no doubt, and I wanted him to remain the bad guy not Choi Do Ha. Anyway, Jeon Kuk Hwan is such a great actor, he always leaves an impression of greatness whatever role he takes.

Jung Jae-Sung as Warden Park Yoon Gab – I absolutely love this guy! He was awesome! He was so annoying in the beginning, but when he got beaten up, he looked like a pitiful puppy. So tough to survive all the beating but in the end he was still standing.

There were so many good actors in this drama, too many to mention actually but surely made the show interesting!

Twists-filled. There so many twists in this drama, but two are really stuck in my head. Go Mi Ho getting sick and Choi Do Ha’s beloved wife being abandoned by him. Tragic for Go Mi Ho and simply heartless of Choi Do Ha!

Ending. So that’s how it ends… our mouse finally walks out of the maze alive and well but not without sacrifice. On the other hand, the bad guy has to pay for his sins painfully.

Dislikes: This has very messy, disconnected story lines! It was well compensated though with good acting and twists. However, there were a lot of scenes which were just stupid and unnecessary. The story was indeed bad but I can’t deny it was exciting to watch. So, I made it through!

Now, We Are Breaking Up

now we are breaking up kdramaOngoing drama. Still watching.

Preview: Ha Young Eun is a hard-working team lead of a leading fashion company. She’s responsible for a lot of stuff including guiding his boss’ daughter to properly do her job. She meets again professional, fashion photographer, Yoon Jae Kook, who she had a one-night-stand in Paris.

Trailer: Now, We Are Breaking Up

Genre: Romance, Noona Romance
Episodes: 16
Stars: Song Hye Kyo as Ha Young Eun
Jang Ki Yong as Yoon Jae Kook
Choi Hee Seo as Hwang Chi Sook
Kim Joo Hun as Suk Do Hoon
Sehun as Hwang Chi Hyung

Likes: Beautiful leads, no doubt, but chemistry  is another story.

Song Hye Kyo as Ha Young Eun – you can see that she’s gotten older but still very beautiful. She is definitely a talent but the role made her look like she’s not having fun in life, too serious. I wish to see her again in a more light-hearted drama, maybe a romantic comedy. Nevertheless, she looked stunning in different outfits, especially the floral dress.

Jang Ki Yong as Yoon Jae Kook – still very handsome. After My Roommate is a Gumiho, I was looking forward to this drama. His role here didn’t make much impact like the Gumiho but still glad to see this beauty in another light. Tall and handsome, he complemented Hye Kyo’s perfect look.

Fashionable Outfits. Love all Song Hye Kyo’s outfits! She looked good in them and they looked good on her. Her floral dress was just so pretty! Perfect for the date although she looked so stiff in that scene 😉. Also love Jang Ki Yong’s relaxed outfit. This guy looks good on everything I guess. Pretty much everyone in the show looked fashionable.

Awesome Quotes. Love how each episode starts with quotes from famous personalities. And my favourite was by Gertrude Stein, “Whoever said money can’t buy happiness, simply didn’t know where to go shopping.” 😂

SONO. How meaningful is the name for Ha Young Eun’s clothing line was and to think it was originally suggested by a stranger who turned out to be the love of her life.

Bold Reply. When Ha Young Eun was asked by Jae Guk’s mum if they can have a talk and Young Eun replied, ” If you’re So Wan’s mum then I don’t have a reason to meet you, but if you’re Jae Guk’s mum, yes, I will meet you.”  Very bold of her and kind of like it if I was in Young Eun’s shoes but not if I were the mum 🤔.

Supporting Love Teams. I was glad they had other love teams to switch my attention to. The Hwang Chi-sook and Seok Do-hoon’s love team was a bit cringy but these two were just so cute.

Friendship Goal. The strong bond between the three ladies was simply admirable. It makes me miss my best friends more.

Dislikes: The story was just blah. Lots of cliches. And what I was disappointed most was the lack of justification for the main lead’s greatest love for each other. Also, the lack of chemistry was very evident. Sorry, but I was totally bored. Struggled to finish the whole drama.

The ending was, how would I describe it, very lazily done. It was like, what, that was it?!

My Rating: 7.5 stars! (10 as highest)
