Likes: Oh my gosh, Yumi’s cells are just too cute! And there are so many of them, all  impressively visualized! Although they’re all representations of what was going on Yumi’s head, they were accurate and totally relatable. I just couldn’t stop saying, “That is sooo true!” It’s amazing to see the cells as this tiny people running and doing their respective jobs inside our brain. If a cell is forgotten or not given importance, they die, just like what happened to photo cell or writer cell, but they can also get resurrected. I like how our brain is visualized as a village, with its village folks doing their duties.

Yumi’s Cells. I love all her cells working together but her brain was obviously dominated by love, reason, hunger, emotion and fashion. Her love cell was her number one. Yumi was capable of loving someone and putting that someone on top of her priority list. To watch her and her cell’s journey as she started dating Woong was truly fun. There was these roller coaster of emotion, which was of course well-portrayed by “emotion cell”. The time when her giant “hunger cell” shrunk and lost its appetite. Her “reason cell” panicking what to do when he’s out of reason. Her “fashion cell” making sure she wore the best during her dates. And of course “love cell” coming back to life after years-long of coma.

Woong’s Cells. He’s also got reason, love, but I remember Lustsaurus most, lol! Woong’s village has fewer cells than Yumi, well maybe because he runs on algorithm a lot. King Sullen had a cameo and he was so cute!

The first kiss. How could I forget that when there was some waist-grabbing involved.

The chemistry. Kim Yoo Mi and Go Woong chemistry was awesome. Love how she would stare at him whenever he’s shirtless 😍.

The OST. I just love the song Like a Star! Beautiful song!

Awesome cast. And we’ve got 2 idols as support…

Kim Go Eun as Kim Yoo Mi – Kim Go Eun did it again! I understand why she’s very much liked by a popular writer. Her ability to give her character justice is undeniable. Here as Yu Mi, she was this girl who closed her heart to love for a while but unexpectedly fell in love with someone who was not even her type.

Ahn Bo Hyun as Goo Woong – I never thought of Ahn Bo Hyun in romantic comedy, let alone the leading man. But surprisingly, he did so well and I’m already liking this guy. As Goo Woong, I love his awkwardness and sometime stiffness. He always appeared rough but he was a gentle soul.

Minho of kpop group Shinee and Jin Young of Got7 – it makes me happy to see this two idols! Jin Young specially is totally rocking the kdrama world!

Dislikes: Not sure of the ending. Hoping for a season 2 as it’s obviously to be continued.

My Rating: 8 stars! (10 as highest)
